Biography

Haly Herrera is a Principal Engineer with AKM Consulting Engineers.  She has specialized in the planning of water, recycled/non-domestic water, and wastewater systems. She developed and calibrated the system models, performed hydraulic analyses, and developed recommendations for improvements for the Moulton Niguel Water District, Irvine Ranch Water District, City of Norwalk, Mesa Water District, East Orange County Water District and Montebello Land and Water Company’s potable water/recycled water/sewer models.  She completed condition assessment and asset management assignments for Irvine Ranch Water District, Moulton Niguel Water District, East Orange County Water District, and Long Beach Water Department.  She conducted condition assessment of Irvine Ranch Water District’s wastewater collection system facilities, including the pump stations, prepared likelihood of failure and consequence of failure analyses using Infomaster, and prioritized the repair/rehabilitation/replacement projects.
